1. Navigate to the Unit for which you would like to create the Certificate.

Locate the Unit by navigating to the Contractor the Unit is associated with, or use Search.

 

info.pngIf you cannot locate the Unit, you can add it, or contact an administrator.

2. Click Create Certificate.

info_tall.gifIf you would like to create a certificate for an interested party that is already associated with the Unit, you can click the Create Certificate link that appears to the right of the interested party to launch a streamlined version of the Create Certificate wizard.

3. Select the Certificate Relationship Type.

The Certificate Relation Types dropdown allows you to select the relationship of the Certificate Addressee, which is displayed at the bottom of the certificate.  

 

Select one of the options and click Continue >>

info_tall.gifThe Create Certificate wizard displays a screenshot of the certificate with each step and indicates which area the step applies to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Select the Coverage items to appear on the Certificate.

Select the Coverage items you would like to appear on the Certificate and click Continue >>.

5. Select a Certificate Template and Named Insured.

Select the template for the new Certificate.  If you are unsure which template to use, please contact an administrator.

 

Select who you would like to appear as the named insured and click Continue >>.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Select the Certificate Addressee

Click Unit's Contractor to select a Contractor addressee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

f2.pngClick Other associated entity to select a Driver, Carrier, or Contractor addressee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

f3.pngClick Certificate Holder to select an interested party (e.g. lien holder) addressee.

Use the Search field to locate an existing interested party, or click Add a new interested party and enter any information you have to add a new interested party.

 

Click Continue >>.

 

 

7. Select the effective date of the Certificate.

Enter an effective date and click Continue >>.

 

 

 

 

 

8. Create the new Certificate.

Click Finish >>.

 

 

9. Review the new Certificate.

You will be taken to the Unit page.  You can navigate to the Certificate by clicking the link in the Date field.

 

Click the download link to download the Certificate.
